i understand saying this makes you feel better but that statement is stupid. i think you're smart enough to see that products are separate from the organization marketing them and some times a good product gets beaten by a not as good a one because of marketing, historical or other reasons. if i remember correctly even you admitted that opteron would have been a better choice for the machines your company bought but politics didn't let it. don't keep repeating a stupid statement just because you want to support the company behind the product. as far as i'm concerned, athlon 64 is a better product than any p4 intel has but amd can't market themselves out of a wet paper bag.
