AK, How about a compromise - both companies were moving the release dates forward before they were able to ship in volume? Well that's obvious. The whole dual-core thing became a PR contest anyway. The true results of the PR won't be apparent until months or even years later when applications start taking more advantage of thread-level parallelism. Tenchusatsu
