Friday appears to have been something of a short/intermediate low for now...

The Relative VIX and VXN both spiked up to levels not seen since last August's bottom:

Total Put/Call Ratio hit 1.42 on Friday:

The Nasdaq Summation Index is back to where it was in August:

The Percentage of S&P 500 stocks above their 50 Day MA is back to where it was in August:

Even Sentiment is approaching August's numbers:

And one more I look at is the RSI on this ratio of the NDX to SPX is down to 30 - i.e., oversold:

Some of the above conditions need to ease off before I would initiate new short positions... that ought to happen within the next 3 to 6 weeks...

Of course some stocks continue to make new 52-week lows... and there is certainly no compelling reason to cover those!
