Michael, it's a possibility that based on past market bottoms in October 2002 and previously in October 1998 that we might get another one in October 2006.

It's an excellent hypothesis based on Presidential or Election Year cycles but it's hardly fool proof. I would be a fool to suggest it as a roadmap.

It's more likely that the next actual long term market bottom will occur at a different time than October 2006.

But lets not rule it out yet ok. After all the market probably just topped in January 2005. Even though the SOX/SMH topped in January 2004.

I learn more every day about the market. It's a humbling experience but one that ultimately will allow me to identify within a few months the next actual long term bottom which may happen at a completely different time than October 2006.
