Peter, Patient-driven testing seems a fine idea, but most health care facilities and physicians of my acquaintance want to do their own testing rather than accept x-rays, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic studies performed elsewhere. There may be many reasons for this but the primary reason, again, can be filed under CYA.

I was particularly partial to my dogs' veterinarian. <g> - Holly
