Since there have been no posts since my last one a year ago, I thought it would be good to try to enliven the Board.

ALE has been a little disappointing lately, but I still feel like they are filling in the gaps, from a geographical standpoint (except for more US import deals).

I think that ALE is the largest independent still left, and is a possible merger candidate by one of the largies still lurking out there.

If not, I think that ALE has the strongest chances of well surviving as a mainstream niche product as presenting premium beers.

I still cannot get ALE products, except through the kindness of friends, who like to visit Myrtle Beach, SC or Kiawah Island, SC to play golf or visit the beaches, and bring me a case (if they are traveling by car).

I am hoping that the export dept realizes that Canadians sometimes like to have their products available for them, while they are vacationing in the coastal areas of SC, and take appropriate action.
