us being irish, we have rather a rather twisted sense of humor, and way of looking at the world. but did you know that your bowels can die, basically? people think of losing a foot or hand when diabetic. but neuropathy attacks wherever there are nerves. basically... her bowels are shutting down. now, that is fodder for many a joke, but it's... well, it isn't good. and at 54, she is not happy about it. that is much to young to not be able to go the bathroom.
