Delay paid his wife $500,000. You call him "innocent"?
That alone is way beyond the "appearance" of criminality.
The "democrats" he claims also pay family members pay them something like $10,000 for working on a campaign. No comparison. Plus Delay has obviously lavished himself with 5 star vacations any time he wants, one at least paid for by a Russian oil lobbyist headquartered in the Bahamas. That's a clear violation of the law. Delay's denial that he knew about it is contradicted by Abramoff insisting Delay knew "everything about the money". Everything.

Thgis is the tip of the iceberg. DElay is a crook. And a he has corrupted many others in congress too pursuing his far rightwing "America for sale" policies.
