Re: Regrettable things happen. "Regrettable things"???? That was a crime. Those dogs saved the lives of countless soldiers and we allowed them to die horrendous deaths. What came out of that was that they were no longer classified as "surplus equipment".....if it was up to you, I am not so sure even that change would have been made.
