Huge fight going on about what the FED should do - fight inflation and the wild housing speculation occuring in some places or help the economy (read: GM, Ford and their bond holders, suppliers etc.) Possible actions range from delaying rate rises a few months to 50 bps rate increase - which is still on the table, but just barely.
