Slider's posts regarding China are actually pretty clear compared to some of the stuff out there I have been reading!! The whole issue of the economy is quickly coming to a head. We are in for some extreme volatility in the next few months and I expect the general direction for almost everything is going to be down. Based on what I have been reading we are starting to enter a deep recession (and that's if we are lucky) and there is nothing the Fed can do about it. If you see in the paper that China is going to float their currency, head for the hills.
