Conference call notes - strong sales in Europe, weak in North America & disappointing in Asia esp. Japan - believe they have Japan sorted out and on the upswing again, takes 9 –18 months from a design win to revenue so not much this current quarter - about 6 trials of NES (meter) products, mostly in Europe. Still hope for $18m orders and $6.5m shipments this yr, all in second half. - some signs of life in NA utility market: has led the co to restart sales efforts here which were on hold – brought back salespeople from overseas. - Enel lawsuit will be settled (binding arbitration, just waiting for verdict) in late May or June. john
