Shades, Those Cebu girls are mostly wanting an American husband and the ones who are not husband shopping, well you have to go over there and rent them by the night, if you know what I mean. They way you get to know those gals (I don't mean the "rentals" but the potential girlfriends)is by writing, like a "pen-pal". You need a list of names and addresses and you go from there. They have "internet cafes" and some people have the internet at home but it is really a poor country and a computer and monthly dial-up fee is a real luxury. Cebu is a nice safe little city, about the size of Atlanta without the sprawl. You ought to give it a try. I promice you a Cebu girl will not care whether you rent or own (your house).

Re: VLCCF, I didn't mean that they are a Venezualan company but that if Chavez follows his master Castro's instructions and shuts off the US oil supply (most likely by getting rid of the Cities Services US refineries that the Venezualan gov. owns) then these large oil tanker company stocks will fly because of all the double hauling of all that oil. VLCCF is in Bremuda, I think.

Re: financials. One reason for holding is that I have a real big gain in some of this stuff and like to hold if I can to avoid the tax. Keep in mind that lots of these people that post on board don't have to worry about taxes of any kind. If you live in Belize or Tonga or some such place and do your trading with a broker on Grand Cayman, especially if you have four or five different passports taxes are not much of a problem.
