I don't agree, Lizzie. If Oracle sells CRM software and the enterprises are setting up call centers in India now instead of in the U.S., what's to stop Oracle from selling their CRM software in India?

Most companies, including Cisco are global. They sell wherevere there is demand. India has grown explosively and with that growth comes the need for CRM software, PCs, networking equipment, and all the other technology that U.S. companies have been buying for years.

So when it comes to offshoring R&D, I agree that it should be approached with extreme caution. However, when it comes to run of the mill IT, it's a smart choice for smart companies.
