"RE-USABLE PLATES! There goes the blades! Bye Bye! <<They have developed a new application of the thermal plate technology that allows the END-USER to use a modified version of their plates, then strip off the entire coating down to the aluminum, then re-laminate a new coat on it, to be then imaged and RE-USED. In other words, re-using the aluminum (in tests...up to 6 or 8 times)!>> Well, if you can re-use the blade 6 to 8 times, you just killed 85% to 90% of your expected revenues from the precious plate! Evolution away from the original story!!! Add competition and price cutting. No wonder the cartel is rumored to be cracking!!! Remember the line from Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid? (Regarding the recent large seller lurking around) Who are those guys? This is good news for Heidelberg.
