The article mentions that Fonda apologized for the 1972 pictures. I have watched a number of interviews with her and have not heard her "apologize." She talks about a "lapse of judgement" and talks about "regrets." Ann Coulter is not the only conservative figure that has been targeted with pies. Tucker Carlson was assaulted and I think that Bill O'Reilly also got hit. There may have been others. They could just as easily been shot, and maybe the whole purpose of the pies was to tell them, "We could just as easily kill you as hit you with a pie." Of course, if one of them is shot and killed, then the NRA is at fault.
