Eisenhower didn't support Nasser, he stayed out of it.



Stayed out of it? Not hardly. Dulles condemned the British and French in the General Assembly, and Eisenhower basically forced the climbdown that left Nasser in control of the canal and Britain and France out of the Colonial business. That's not staying out of it. Read some more history.
