Marcos, you were being naughty and disparaging fat people, old people and Turks [you didn't even give the Turks an upper-case but I suspect, without looking that you give Arabs an upper-case]. I shall now check. Damn, that theory went kaboom instantly. You give fijians, arabs, foreign devils and chinese, saxons and turks all lower case, consistently.
It's annoying when my well-researched theories explode on first test against reality. I was trying to construct a proof that you are a racist, as per Nadine's "it's all about race" because then, I win the argument. The first person to use the racist word wins a debate, especially if they can back it up with some flimsy 'proof'.
In that case, I'll just have to call you a racist anyway, without support, declare a victory and go and enjoy YET ANOTHER fantastic day in the best summer of my life, which includes those childhood days when summer goes forever and holidays last a lifetime. If this is global warming, bring it on. Unfortunately, last year was hideous, with an incipient ice-age seemingly on the way so I don't trust the promise of global warming.
If the racist label doesn't stick, I'll go with fattist and ageist. That should also win the argument.
But before I go.
The main is that everything used to be taken by conquest and as time has gone on, less and less is conquest an approved way of acquiring property [though state serfdom by taxpayers is still a-okay all around the world, with libertarians a weird cult like the christians in the early Roman Empire, when they were good for feeding lions in the Colosseum and crucifying. Note cool use of lower case for christians.
The other problems is the idea of collectivism = that palestinians are a people and that jews are a separate people and that arabs are another separate people and that turks are another and they can all be bundled into their respective piles and treated as a single entity of clones.
We the Civilized [note upper case for superior human beings] don't deal in conquest and collectivism, though admittedly we do still treat animals, including primates and chimps [our cuzzies] as not much more than food supplies [this brings us close to cannibalism - fortunately, the DNA of our cattle is a bit more removed than that of "bush meat" and other human tribes, giving us a fig-leaf to cover our cannibalism] Daughter Anita is NOT happy about that.
