It is far far more than '3%' of Palestine being taken, michael, check a map, the indigenous are backed into little bantustan corners ... yes i've heard of all the people you mention, and yes no doubt they've all had what you'd term 'hissy fits', your point here is unclear .... there were in fact polish freedom fighters dubbed by the soviets 'terrorists', just not that many, poles tended to fight smarter not harder ... better part of valour, and all that, this had no effect on relative rightness or wrongness of their opponents however, the soviets were invaders pure and simple ... notice use of past tense, 'were', ahem

On calling names - i do not understand your need to do so ... no wait, maybe i do - every single point you or Nadine or whoever puts up to cover over what really happened in Palestine i have shot down, so you'd like something, anything, to distract ... so in honour of that - it was not an empty land, it was inhabited, this is the central point, and anyone can with ease google up early zionist statements showing they knew very well it was inhabited

... Zangwill - that's the name of the guy who coined the phrase 'land without a people for a people without land' ... speaking of names, i just recalled that, usually can't when trying to ... first name Isaiah, Israel, Isaac, starts with I anyway ... englishman, writer, zionist ... he had not ever been to Palestine when he said that, got there later i think and changed his mind, tried to get a project going elsewhere, he was one of the Uganda supporters if memory serves ... funny how some people have the ability to change their minds when presented with evidence that warrants it, and some don't ... eh.
