But every Arab counts, whatever their politics? They all get to be retroactive Palestinians, an identity that didn't even exist back then? Even those Arabs who thought Jewish nationalism would make a good ally for Arab nationalism, and there were a number who thought so? Even the completely apolitical masses who came for jobs? How about the Christians and Druze and Bedouins, do they all count as Palestinians too?

But only Zionist Jews count. Any other kind of Jew doesn't count. Even if they had been living in Palestine for centuries. Especially then. Because otherwise somebody might be tempted to regard them as "indigenous" or something.

WTF kind of accounting is that?
