Time to take apart P. Dierks, world class hypocrite, party stooge and liar:
PD writes: "At least the head of the Republican Party was not snorting cocaine like John Dean did, or perhaps, pretended to. Decorum is a standard that is far above Democrats."
Who knows what PD means here? John Dean was Nixon's White House counsel. GW Bush was a known cocaine abuser. To be fair, cocaine was snorted by millions of people in those days. I snorted it too, often with bigshot Republican's kids like GW Bush.
PD writes: "You had control of Congress of over forty years. The pendulum is still swinging right. You might want to get used to it. In another thirty years, you will be older, balder and maybe back in control."
First, PD forgets about Newt Gingrich. Second, the pendulum just stopped dead in its tracks and went in the opposite direction about six weeks ago. Why? The ridiculous abuse of the Terri Schiavo case which exposed the dishonesty of the rightwing. All just to pander to the sad and dishonest people who believe unplugging a terminal loved one from life support is "murder" and injection more extremist religion into government. Then threatening judges' lives and attacking the judicial branch of government, even conservative judges. Huge mistake which may cost the GOP congress next year. Bush and the rightwing are now disapproved of by most Americans and an overwhelming amount of honest and educated Americans. Also because of gas gouging which most people correctly blame on Bush-Cheney and their fat cat oil pals and sheiks.
PD writes: "Does that mean that your rude behavior justifies you being treated l dirt? We are getting an awakening every day. The fact that Republicans are in control has still not sunk in to the President Pro Tempore. He allows Democrats to maintain the nuclear option in unConstitutional obstructionism."
Who knows what most of that means, but the filibuster has been around all our lives and the GOP never complained before. The GOP is busy changing rules of all kinds fo enrich and protect themselves, from Delay's ethics rules changes to rules allowing direct payment of public money to rightwing religious organizations. Now they want to stock the courts with far rightwing judges to let them get away with more abuses of power. They basically want no checks and balances whatsoever in American government. Shame on them. Thank God most people support the democrats on this issue and Frist and Santorum are already starting to back down.
PD writes: "Yes the minority on the left has way too much power. It will continue to decline. Your allies on the FMSM are helping to speed the decline. They shot their wad in their lies about President Bush, their lies about the honorable Veterans for Truth, and many other lies that got exposed."
What hogwash. first of all, left and right in this country are equally divided. The power lies in the center and Bush won just enough of them using smears, fears, phony terrorist alerts and war to eke out a victory. Oh yeah, he also cheated, but maybe not enough to make the difference.
Seconmd, the SmearVets were a vile "dishonest and dishonrable (McCainb's words) smear campaign, pure and simple, against a very honest, highly-decorated US war hero. Paid for by the same people who fund Delay's dirty tricks in Texas. This filthy business comes from the mind of Karl Rove, perhaps the greatest dirty trickster in the history of US politics. Rove controlled every asapect ofm Bush's campaign and ran similar campaigns against McCain and Cleland. The rightwing has a nerve talking to us about lies. They have not told us the truth about a single major issue facing our nation today.
PD writes: "This land is our land. You may wish to take it from the rest of us, but you will be resisted at every turn. This is still a capitalist society for the time being. Enjoy the fruits."
Huge lie. PD is not telling us Bushies are bought and paid for by corporate lobbyists of industries which need to be regulated, who think this land is THEIR land (not ours) to steal and exploit and are busy being handed our public lands, air, water and treasure on a silver platter by the Bush glorified corporate lobbyists in the White House and congress. The public wealth is under seige by the greedy rightwingers from every direction, who never met a pollutant they didn't like, only outdone by the scandalous energy and health care/drug price gouging going on.
This is why it's so important to fully investigate Tom DElay and put him behind bars, because he is at the absolute core of the rightwing corruption these days, a movement which is out to rip off and hoodwink every man, woman and child in the country, as well as to despoil what we have left of our wild lands, and pollute the rest. |
