If you can't talk to somebody of european culture because their mind is so set on some ancient tribal absurdity, then how are you going to talk to an oriental with the same disease .... sometimes you think, these peoples deserve each other ... they're quite related you know, palestinians are almost certainly descended in part from old israeli tribes ... the word in hebrew 'canaanite' meant 'trader', the people by that name were later called the phoenicians, they built Carthage and Cádiz ... the name Palestine comes from filistín, philistine in english, these were a subset of canaanites, the coastal ones i think, either that or a closely related tribe .... there is considerable evidence for these connections in the languages, hebrew being considered a canaanite tongue, and uses its alphabet ... all these tribes came from the same general area out in Arabia somewhere, possibly Yemen, within the same general time period
And they're all completely exclusivist, oh joy ... one subset of one tribe wanders off to Europe for the best part of two millennia, keeps entirely separate from the folks around them, then decides to come back in force and run the place, where they will keep entirely separate from the folks around them, and tell them how to run their lives, too ... rest of them who stayed dither around, uneducated, got a bunch of wild theories none of which work, subject to another form of religious claptrap, will not compromise on anything any more than the invading tribe will .... authors of their own misfortunes, all of them
