Thanks for that Stephen, i caught a lot of it because of your post ... on the content, it was all pretty predictable out of both of them [forgetting Layton] ... Martin giving himself two months after the report comes out, says 'will call election within thirty days', then presumably thirty or forty days to election day ... wonder if that's enough time for us all to forget -g-

On the far more significant superficial stuff that Sarge didn't cover, Harper was a bit wooden, sounded like he was reciting it for the seventeenth time, probably was ... Sofa talks about him upthread, and there have been a few columns on him, he's not the jolly backslapping perpetual salesman type at all .... maybe that's not necessary, i can't think of a PM who was ... still, he is a long way from it, if you know what i mean
