These 'immigrants' were in many cases ignoring the illegitimacy of the ownership of effendis they were 'buying' the land from ... they were also coming with a plan to dominate the entire area, subjugate all inhabitants, these were not simple farmers coming to plant crops and build homes, though they did those things as well

One thing they did was to ignore that while the natives did not 'own' the land under the new ottoman land tenure system, they did in many cases own the olive trees ... oddly enough ... later after robbing years of crops and/or bulldozing these trees zionists would call it 'an unfortunate misunderstanding'

Of course we're only talking about a tiny fraction of the country that was 'bought', the great majority of Palestine they took by force of arms

Your cracks about turks are going nowhere, since to my knowledge there is not a single turk on SI, let alone one promoting some Whackenstaat in Palestine .... the ottomans come into the story, but the ones that relieved the Rothschilds of their money are long gone ... if you need someone to be upset at, i suppose they'd do fine, though ... no point in yelling at me more, i'll be sleeping ... cheers
