Regardless of the outcome of the inquiry Martin is guilty either by sins of omission or sins of commission. As minister of finance there only so much "duping" you can claim before your are too "dupid" to govern! These problems and many other are pure financial issues ... mismanagement of money.

The time Martin requests is not for people to forget but for his "powerful" party supporters to drag more names into the fray to deflect criticisms to past liberals and dissociate himself and his present cast of crooks and clowns. I say powerful because they essentially stole power from Cretien. Within the liberal ranks they are a manipulative force more than enough to cloud and diffuse the issues in the inquiry. Look for more sacrificial liberal lambs to be led to the Gomery alter.

At this point, if there is no election then the people offer tacit support of this kind of government behavior including the gun registry (off by a billion dollars) and other bilion-dollar boon-doggles.

IMO the fact that these MORONS are still in power is lack of an alternative. Harper is not it (the Conservatives party is). People simply do not see him as a national leader on the international stage. He does not and will never portray that persona. He has no personality and cannot sell the right-central position. A reasonably charismatic leader would have won the last election. You have got to offer a leader with your platform, at least in Canadian politics. Time and time again people judge the alternative rather than the absolute and we have been in that conundrum for the past five years or so.

I vote often but have no political ties one way or the other. IMO if you (collectively) support the present government you (collectively) may need your head examined.
