The current birth rate ratio in China is 17% more boys than girls. India and other Asian locations are following closely to that statistic. This trend has been spreading to more and more nations where controlling births is a high priority. At the current world population of 7 billion then, we could be looking at around 1.2 billion excess men in the world at some point. China are well on their way to being superpower contenders.

Historically young men killed each other off and there was an excess of females. The testosterone pool therefore was regularly diminished. It looks like the reverse will be true in the future what with mothers aborting their little girls and keeping their little boys.

What have we learned about large populations of frustrated young men banding together to accomplish something?

This world is going to get very interesting in a way we have never seen in a generation or so ... anybody got a fort for sale?
