Associated Spring Expansion to Increase Penetration of Industrial, Telecommunications, Residential Products and Medical Components Markets
MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 5, 1997--Associated Spring today officially marked the completion of a major expansion at the Milwaukee division that more than doubled its size to 77,000 square feet. The division, which has been an active employer in Milwaukee since 1951, invested more than $5 million in the new addition and equipment to meet its growth requirements.
Ali Fadel, president of Associated Spring, said ``the addition at the Milwaukee division will house state of the art manufacturing equipment and systems that will help broaden its manufacturing capabilities and increase its penetration of new and emerging markets.''
The additional capacity will mean increased growth, not only for existing products such as starter and torque coil springs, but for new products as well, to serve the fast-growing industrial, telecommunications, medical components and residential products markets.
The Milwaukee division is located at 434 West Edgerton Avenue.
