Oh come on. Church choirs are notorious. AT my parents church the main star of the choir is a male with a falsetto voice higher than any of the women. He sings these beautiful solos and has even cut records. And if he and his choir mates aren't all gay I'm Daffy Duck. They are totally gay.
Dear Daffy, This sounds like open speculation to me. The main male star at my church has a deep deep voice, a total hottie for a wife, two beautiful kids, has attended Voice courses at Juilliard, and is an avowed Christian. He has dedicated his talent to the Lord through church choir. Your generalized statement is an insult to him and all like him.
As for the boy scouts, sadly pedophiles are drawn to professions and volunteer duties where they can be close to children and get them out in the woods. The key is to never let them be alone with your kids. When I was in the boy scouts, our scoutmaster would take us to a cabin, tell us stories about how he had sex with women then try to make us masturbate him. Half the boys went along with it. I knew better and ran. The boy scouts never disciplined that master though a boy was killed under his supervision.

Your story about scouts and the abuse has none of the media reported signifiers of abuse. It does, however, have all the criteria for a made up BS story by a fake wannbe who wants to be included.
