Bush has basically deregulated pollution with his (not) Clear Skies initiative which the pollution lobbyists authored for him. Let's start there. Why do you think Bush canceled his Smokey Mountains photo op today? Because of the disgusting smog levels. Bushies have been fighting environmental laws tooth and nail since day one. They have never met an environmental regulation they like, not a pollutor they haven't gone to bed with.
