CEO Compensation is compiled in the latest Forbes. Craig Barret just misses the top 100. His compensation is comparable with that of JT Gifford the CEO of Maxim a small semiconductor company. Craig compensation was a fraction of the compensation paid to the CEO of Xilinx($29 million), and Xilinx is much smaller than Intel. forbes.com I believe that most CEO compensation is excessive, but Barret is relatively low on the scale.
