No. Inventory is never considered a long-term asset.

My previous post was misleading by bringing the fiscal year into the discussion. As long as an asset is expected to be converted to cash within one year from the date of a given balance sheet (inventory clearly qualifies), it is classified as a current asset on that balance sheet. Regards, Dew
