Depends on the procedure. Hormonal replacement or augmentation is ok. In vitro fertilization is not ok.


Okay, so regulating hormones to permit conception is okay. Regulating the same hormones to prevent conception is not okay.

What would you say to this understanding: Preventing conception is not okay, but the Church allows people to use periods of natural infertility as a kind of technical loophole. Same way husband and wife are not required to have sex if they don't want to.

Sort of like an eruv in Jewish law. (you can look that one up -g-)
