Actually, Alan, there's a hybrid Ford Escape now and they've announced five other hybrid models to be released over the next three model years. GM has a Chevy Silverado hybrid truck out now and will have a hybrid Saturn '06 model, plus two Chevies and a GMC for '07. GM also has hybrid transit busses now, apparently.

It appears, BTW, the European car makers are at least as far behind. Apparently, Daimler has a Merc hybrid that was supposed to come out in the US this year, but I'm not sure if it has. BMW, Volvo and VW have nothing, as far as I can find.
