The borders were established in 1967. The land under the illegal settlements was stolen since. Other crimes don't absolve the Israelis. We don't subsidize the Jordanians. If we dropped all support of Israel, they'd just be another group of thugs lording it over a weaker party that we could disassociate ourselves from.
As it is, America bears some responsibility, since it's our helicopters, guns, etc. being used to kill Palestinians, and the entire world knows it.
