BTW, I vaguely recall accusations that at least one of the Smothers was "a commie", but I don't remember the "stupid animal tricks" on the Sullivan Show. Topo Gigio, yes, Louie, no.

OTOH, I do remember the "GE corporate handshake" on the Letterman Show. ;-)
