em, Actually I think it is better to wait too. My frustration lies more with the fact that it really doesn't matter. Whatever, wait or not, we will have another Liberal government They are made of teflon thanks to Ontario... sigh.... There was already much resentment of the Quebecers long before Iraq by Floridians for more practical reasons... than the media encouraged hatred of the French. Quebecois are taking over areas of Florida and things happen in French then according to some locals... The North South pull of the US and Canada is very strong... stronger at times than the east west pull.... When I moved to Ontario I found many little things ,.. quite different... while when travelling to Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine or upstate New York I did not... If Canada is divisible - Quebec is divisible. well what area would that really be LOL.. a poor satellite state of Ontario ? I think the Montreal area is far more receptive to separatism now.. Many English strongholds have been 'settled' by Francophony' and many younger English do not care all that much anymore.. Americans 'prop' them up ... how ? Politically the gap between Americans and Canadians is quite large.. Despite the strong north south pull especially with the border states.. Our feared Conservatives just wouldn't seem so Conservative stateside... In the end it seems Parizeau was at least partly right... money stole the referendum... regards K
