kasey has been on the international music scene
for a least a couple of years... won several awards
in the USA for her talents.

thanks for the mini-concert tonight.

my "oneway ticket to paradise" hasn't arrived yet
but my son dave was over yesterday and said he's
all set up with a turntable hooked to his
computer and can digitize the vinyl when it
arrives. goody. i was dreading the work involved
in de-mothballing and connecting all the equipment
i'd need to do that myself.

yeppers, right up there with dead skunk in the
middle of the road. that song's been an anthem
for a long time. i wonder if the GD ever did that
one? wharfy will know.

speaking of the grateful... dave brought me a couple
of CD's when he came by... one was cherry garcia with
david grisman -- shady grove. some nice guitar/mandolin
stuff -- very celtic... good sailing music. the other one
was hank williams III. dave met him last year. he has
some huge speaker cabinets that hankie used on tour.
the CD is pretty good... sounds a lot like his grandfather.
