Strange I hadn't noticed. I use a mirror every day. Which prompts me to ask "Which Liberals ?". Your generalisation is so obviously wrong that it leads me to doubt your sincerity. I'll be charitable and call it empty poetic license.

I am not interested in labels. I see the over-riding danger for Canada as, not separation, but fragmentation (literal). I committed the same error as you do when I accused Conservatives as being allied to Neo-Cons and in favour of war. I should have said which conservatives, but they include Harper and certain contributors to this thread. Is this an "issue of substance" ? It sure is in my mind and I am a voter.

I recall in the last election how the Bloc said loud and clear that Separation was not an issue in the election. But when they did so well in the polling, their political leader said immediately, "This result certainly opens the issue of separation again". I would expect the same kind of duplicity from Harper. Not worth the risk for this voter.
