Regardless, it's unlikely that Apple would abandon the more efficient RISC chips for some Intel product. Curioser and curioser.

Back in the spring when Ellison was talking his takeover to make Apple an NC company, he stated that he wanted an NC built on Intel chips. Apple Recon posted something a month ago about Jobs talking with AMD about x86 chips, apparently for an NC. There may be something going on here, but I don't understand it. I would expect the PPC or the StrongARM to be a better chip for an NC than an x86.

Never a dull day here at "As The Apple Turns".
