Michael Barone is one of the clear-headed columnists out there.

It's hard to take seriously anyone who portrays fascism as a faith thing rather than a power thing.

And it's just silly to bundle fascism as anti-religious when the only remotely plausible threat of fascism we face today is from the religious absolutist/authoritarians. He has it bass-ackwards.
