MM. Imagine 4 or 8 years out and radical dems nominating radical judges and republicans being hoisted by their own petard. What the dems are doing to the ten judges is wrong, but it is only 10 and the 60% think might be needed by republicans one day. Good compromise would be for dems to support 5 and Bush to withdraw the other 5. The principle is worth more than 5 judges. The ones who lose out will make more money in the private sector anyway.
