the number of poor minority defendants put to death in this country should evoke some shame

The shame is on those who excuse the behavior of these perpetrators because of the color of their skin. What about their black victims? And in terms of executions, black murderers are executed at a lower rate than white murderers. (Stats and links provided on this fact within the past couple of months.)
