Were we talking about hunters and PETA? Or something else? Is hunting a right protected in our Constitution, specifically? If you are talking about the NRA, I don't even believe that individuals carrying guns is what the second amendment refers to, and there is a scholarly body of evidence arguing my position. I think the NRA tries to force ITS morality on the public, quite frankly. I don't like it at all. But I accept that until all our freedoms are gone, it has the right to try to do that. Just as PETA does, incidentally. There would not be an animal rights campaign if it had no spokespeople, no voice. They are doing it the American way!
