I am trying to keep Feelies very egalitarian. Regardless of anyone's self-perceived expertise in a field, I prefer the level playing field view of this thread. Anyone can argue about any subject, anyone can pontificate (but others may laugh at you), etc. I am more interested in the dialogue that occurs when people with a lot of different worldviews and experiences and occupations, from a lot of different cultural backgrounds, intermingle. I find it really exciting and dynamic. And I don't believe book learning is the only excellent teacher, or in looking down on people who don't bring a lot of formal education to the table.
