that brings it up to what now - 16?
wow. 16 wells pumping sweet water
to thousands of people.

Yep, numero sixteeno...amazing to think about. We will build one more very soon, and then we will concentrate on raising funds and organizing to build the dormitory at the Buu Thang Orphanage. I hope we can start construction in June or July.

Hung says he is back at full strength. I've talked him into starting to groom an assistant so he doesn't have to work so hard, and so if anything happens to him we can carry on. I'm sure Mrs Hung would take over if need be, she's a tiger.

I looked for the CBC Special last night at 10pm, but we had "The National" on here...so I went to PBS, and watched an interesting but disturbing special on the 30 anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. It was very heart wrenching. I keep seeing Iraq in the retelling of Vietnam.

Ironically, I woke up to hear a story on NPR from Vietnam about a village outside of Hanoi that is being razed to build a golf course. Many of the old people being displaced were communist fighters during the war, and their government is bulldozing their homes and getting into the golf course business..
