That it takes 3 coats of primer plus one top coat of paint to cover Purple walls back to whitish? And don't even ask what Pink takes.

Or one coat of metallic silver and then whatever color you want. Years ago I moved into a north facing room that was painted a depressing dark blue. I was told that no primer would cover it unless it was a metallic because the blue would continue to bleed through. It worked like a charm except the paint is intended for a metal roof and it is very thin and tends to run....plus you have to wear sunglasses to paint with it or risk eye strain.

That gutters make excellent compost bins?

And worm farms.

That 15 year old girls really like hanging junk on the walls?

And grown men will nail 30 nails into a wall to hang a cap collection.

Trim neatly pieces back together, if you can find all the splinters?

Wood putty is a girl's best friend. Don't forget stripped out wood screw holes can be rehabilitated with wooden match sticks or tooth picks. And don't forget to wet your fingers before using them to smooth down window glazing or better yet, learn to use a four in one.
