The Guckert Gay Prostitute Saga isn't dead yet. The head of the Republican party is gay, Rove is probably gay, Rice thinks she's married to Bush, Mary Cheney is gay, Keyes' daughter is gay, the co-chair of the RNC is pro-choice....it's a bit of a mess in the RNC tent these days.
With more pushing from the blogs and the various PACS, Republicans are going to get all of their laundry out for an airing. Besides, this is the way it should be. Those 'moral' issues (LOL) of abortion, sexuality, etc. shouldn't be the realm of one party or another.
We should be discussing the REAL moral issues of war, poverty, deception, corruption, fiscal irresponsibility, regressive taxation, environmental disaster, economic reversal, etc. etc. THAT's where the two parties diverge in a big way. |
