Those Are Incorrect Volume Tallies for the XLE.

I know that sounds far-fetched, but that particular stockchart.com of the XLE's volume, actually conflicts with other stockchart.com charts fo XLE volume. The XLE has never trade 100 million shares, as your link indicates.

Again, I know this seems ridiculous.
stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyiay[dc][pb50!b200!f][vc60][iut!Ub14!La12,26,9]&pref=G

For example, I know for a fact that on March 23, and March 30, the XLE traded about 24 million shares. I remember well, because one was a big down day on new record volume, and the toerh was a big up day, again on record, or near record volume. Again, about 24 million shares. Other stockshart.com charts of the XLE show this.

But not the chart you linked to, on stockcharts.com. Your link shows they traded about 50 million shares on those days.

I can't be the only one who has noticed cracks, in the reliability of stockchart.com info.
