Your way is wrong. No, she's right. Google is getting harder and harder to use as a search engine because the search strategy puts bookmarked pages at the top of the search. To search news, you need to use Google News. Also, to get the best results, use a Boolean search command, like so: syria lebanon (troops OR "pull out" OR pullout OR out OR withdraw) news.google.com At this moment, this search command gives 7,290 hits. Google is great for finding an answer quick but if the thing you need to know involves business or commerce, it's a real pain wading through the sites that use googlebombing. If I ever get my law website up, I will use googlebombing. ;^)
