Since I have IgD MM, this abstract is of particular importance. About 2 1/2 years ago, I gave my 2 cents worth on Velcade from an MM patient's standpoint. Fortunately, I continue to be in remission after tandem autologous stem cell transplants in 2000 & 2001. It's been over 8 years since my diagnosis. While, I have no personal experience from Velcade, I know many patients who have had good success with this drug. I had the opportunity of hearing Dr. Julian Adams speak in Montreal a few weeks ago. Since developing Velcade, he's moved from Millennium to Infinity. Cheers, Mike
